Horizon/ICS Community Outreach Day & Movie Night at Horizon Church
This family oriented event presented by Iredell Choral Society and Horizon Church will begin with a Car Wash, Live Music, Face Painting, Bingo, and other fun games/activities from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. Performances throughout the day will feature several local and regionally known bands and dance presentations by Dance, Tumble & Yell, and Betty’s School of Dance. In addition, food and craft vendors will be selling at the event. Then, the day’s festivities conclude with a 5:00 pm movie showing of the highly acclaimed 2012 musical film starring Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah, “Joyful Noise” (PG-13). The public is invited and admission is free, however there is a nominal charge for some games and activities, as well as a donation requested for those attending the movie night to cover the cost of hosting the event.
