Significant means “sufficiently great” or “important”, “to be worthy of attention”. God created everyone in this world to be different, but equal in importance to God. Our Life & Our Relationship with our Father through Jesus Christ is very significant.
Description: Significant Praise Festival is a Christian music festival complete with live performances by local and regional musical acts, dance performances, special guest speakers, kids games/activities, food, and vendors. This family-oriented community outreach event will be a fundraiser for the various ministries of Horizon Church and also serve as a Toy Drive for less fortunate families in the area who need assistance providing Christmas for their little ones. Admission for the day’s events will be $5 or “Free with a Toy Donation.”
Mission: Though we all live different lives and are very different from one another, as fellow Christians, we all serve the same God. Significant Praise Festival is designed to draw all types of people, coming into one place, to worship God together as one. We are going to listen to, and dance to all types of live musical entertainment from local/regional Southern Gospel, Soul, Bluegrass, Rock, Hip Hop and Contemporary. This is going to be 7-hours of praise & worship in many musical, artistic and spoken forms. Significant Praise Festival’s mission is to open up hearts & minds not only through music, but also through our guest speakers, dancers, mimes and interviews. Our hope is that everyone that attends will be so overwhelmed and excited during the event, that they will go home and their belief will be stronger than ever. We want everyone to leave so pumped, that church the next day will not be just another day; it will be the day of a New & Restored Life.
How You Can Help: There are opportunities for Statesville area individuals, businesses and vendors who may wish to sponsor the event, rent booth space and/or donate to this cause. Booth rental rates and sponsorship information are on the Sponsorship and Vendor Agreement forms which are attached. We also hope that you can donate your time, attendance, and other means of prayerful support in any ways you feel lead.
